Cathy is a seasoned stylist and nail tech. She enjoys updo’s, cutting, color, multicultural and natural hair care. She has studied under some of the best in the industry including Martin Parsons and The Sexy Hair Tribe. She keeps her skills updated through educational classes, attending hair shows, and keeping on the pulse of new trends through competitions, fashion shows, and teaching. In addition, Cathy has a passion for social media and a lot of Facebook-ery. Cathy firmly believes that everyone is beautiful and Blushing Goddess is all about enhancing your best feature….you!

Cathy is wonderful. I had decided it was time for a change and I immediately came to her after seeing all her glowing reviews! And they were all spot on. I wanted to cut off 8+ inches and Cathy helped me decide the length and style.

I was really nervous at first, but she did a fantastic job and my hair looks and feels great! Bonus- she even helped me to donate the hair I cut, so if anyone else is interested, Cathy can help you out with hair donations!

She also gave me some great tips on traveling abroad, and even has a student discount 🙂 Definitely recommend, I will be back!

I've been going to Cathy Swanson for going on three years now. I came to her while my hair was still in transition from being processed to becoming natural. It was damaged and many stylists in the area didn't know how handle it. That all changed when I met Cathy! Not only was she able to style my hair and bring it back to life, she educated me on steps I could take at home that would keep my hair healthy.

Her exquisite knowledge of products and styling tools really helped me find what was best for my hair and what would protect me from any damage. Cathy's professionalism is outstanding! She understands everyone has their own schedule and she makes sure she doesn't waste your time. She is prompt and ready when your appointment starts.

Cathy is resourceful and skilled at what she does. I'm proud to call her my stylist and also my friend.

I'm from out of town, and I needed a mani/pedi. Cathy did not disappoint - SHE'S AMAZING. Her hands worked magic on my toes and my fingers looked amazing after her polish! She's also amazingly personable and really makes you just relax. I can't wait to see her when I come back! 🙂
